George V Silver Inkstand. Of rectangular form with a reeded border and raised on four bun feet. The inkstand has twin inkwells with glass liners and pen rests.

Fully hallmarked and part hallmarked in five places for Birmingham 1935 by Asprey & Co. Ltd. Additionally the twelve wing nuts to the underside are also hallmarked silver.

In excellent order with very light surface wear commensurate with age. No damage to the glass or silver.

Approximate silver weight is 1.054 kilos or 33.8 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions are 29 cm length, 21 cm width and 4.7 cm height.
