Description

Edwardian Reynolds Angels Silver Hand Mirror. The mirror is bevelled and the edges of the silver detailed with scolls and foliage. The depiction of the angels is from the painting "Angel's Heads" by Sir Joshua Reynolds.

Hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 by Henry Matthews.

In very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Higher wear to the silver around the tip of the mirror (pictures 6 and 7). There are no holes to the faces of the angels.

Approximate weight is 330 grams.

Approximate dimensions are 25 cm length, 9.5 cm width and 2 cm depth.
