Early 20th Century English Maritime School Watercolour Miniature of HMS Victory. The circular picture with a gilt metal surround and a black velvet backing. The frame is of gilt wood.
HMS Victory was launched in 1765 and is best known for being Vice Admiral Nelsonn's Flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. She is the world's oldest naval ship still in commission and is housed in dry dock at Portsmouth.
