Cased set of twelve Dutch silver coffee spoons. Of plain form with pyramid shaped finials. These most probably date to the 1930's or 1940's. Housed in their original fitted case, with the retailer's stamp.
The silver spoons are in excellent condition. There is light wear to the fitted case.
Each spoon is marked with a sword and B1V. The sword mark denotes a minimum silver purity of 833 parts per 1000 silver content. The mark of B1V is for the silversmith, M. Bijkamp & Co. of Steenwijk.
Approximate cased weight is 469 grams.
Approximate silver weight is 72 grams or 2.3 troy ounces.
Approximate spoon dimension is 9 cm length and 2 cm bowl width.
Approximate case dimensions are 29 cm length, 15 cm width and 3.5 cm height.
