Art Nouveau Silver Plated Entree Dish & Cover. The borders with sinuous detail and the loop handle in the Art Nouveau manner. the handle can be removed, turning the cover into another serving dish.
Marked to the underisde for Asprey London with a design registration number dating to 1905.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear and light scratches commensurate with age and for its use as a serving dish. The base is marked 2, whilst the handle and cover are marked 1. The silver plate is in excellent order with a few areas of pitting.
Approximate weight is 1.68 kilos.
Approximate dimensions are 29 cm length, 22 cm width and 14 cm height.
