This is an original 6" x 6" metal section of the letter "H" from the original Hollywood Sign, which originally read “Hollywoodland” when it was first constructed in 1923. In 1977 Hugh Hefner campaigned to have the sign restored, & subsequently pieces of the original construction were kept in storage. The piece is number 95 of 95 sections released in this edition, & it comes mounted inside a framed & matted display featuring black & white stills & a Certificate of Authenticity. The dimensions of this framed display is approximately 21” wide by 17.5" tall. Provenance: The display incorporates a Certificate of Authenticity from world-renowned Authenticators PSA DNA.
