A very rare to find, roman cavalry small iron pryck spur.
This item which dates to circa 1st -2nd century AD, is a very rare survivor..
Of a small Size and intended just to attach to the rear of the sandle to guide the horse.
This piece is brownish in colour, as it came out of peat soil ,which has gone a long way to preserve it.
Roman Cavalry items are very rare to find and as such make a wonderful centre piece to any collection.
