A Moorcroft vase in the Anemone Tribute design by Emma Bossons.
The height is 74mm and the diameter (across the widest section) 82mm.
The design was introduced to commemorate the life and work of Walter Moorcroft OBE.
The base markings show a design copyright date ©2003 with the 'vase' year cypher showing 2011 as the actual year this vase was made.
Emma Bossons, joined Moorcroft at age 20 and quickly became a highly successful designer. She went on to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and her designs are now widely collected.
The vase has been closely inspected and assessed as in excellent condition.
This Anemone Tribute vase is available either by online order or by visiting the Antiques Centre in York where it is on display in Cabinet 138 situated on the Lower Ground Floor, and where further examples of Moorcroft pottery can also be viewed.
