A Moorcroft vase by designer Kerry Goodwin.
The height is 95mm.
In 1990 Moorcroft started to use year cyphers on their pottery i.e. symbols on the base to show the year an item was made, which may be different to the copyright date. The back stamps on this vase include © 2010 for the copyright date plus the 'Umbrella' symbol which is the year cypher for 2010 hence confirming this year to also be the year of production.
The vase is in excellent condition.
This Moorcroft vase is available by ordering online only however if planning to visit the Antiques Centre in York then further examples of Moorcroft pottery can be viewed in Cabinet 138 which is situated on the Lower Ground Floor.
