A Moorcroft vase from the New Zealand Collection (Violet design) by Philip Gibson.
The diameter (across the widest section) is 130mm (5.11inch) and the height 108mm (4.25inch).
The pineapple symbol on the base is the year cypher for 2005 showing this as the year the vase was made.
The vase is in excellent condition. There is a great deal of content in the design and the tube lining, which stands well proud of the surface, is particularly impressive.
This vase from the New Zealand Collection in the Violet design is available by ordering online or by visiting the Antiques Centre in York. If visiting the Centre the vase can be found in Cabinet 138 on the Lower Ground Floor along with a selection of other Moorcroft pottery from early vintage to more modern times.
