A Moorcroft vase designed by Emma Bossons.
The vase vase has a Flamminian Revival/Peacock Feather style.
The height is 16.4 cm (6.45inch).
There are three panels around the vase with a ground that might best be described as having a very dark ivory tone.
The base stamps include 2013 shown as the copyright year a 'Yacht' year cypher to show 2014 as the actual year the vase was made.
The vase has been closely inspected and is in excellent overall condition.
The vase represents an alternative style to the lovely colourful designs often associated with Moorcroft, and provides a collector with an opportunity to add variety.
Given its size it may be considered large enough to show as a stand alone item, perhaps in an entrance hall or reception room, as well as part of a collection.
The vase may well complement a modern setting employing a minimalistic design concept which currently seems quite a popular choice.
This Moorcroft vase can be ordered online or purchased at the Antiques Centre in York where it is displayed on the Lower Ground Floor in Cabinet 138, along with other pieces of Moorcroft Pottery from early vintage to more modern times.
