A very good quality and fully conserved medieval period iron spur.
This item which dates to circa 15th century is in wonderful allover condition.
It still retains its pointed rowl and one of its original fastening buckles as shown.
This spur would have been worn by a mounted knight or man at arms and as such is a rare survivor of the period.
12.5 CM in length.
Nottinghamshire excavations in 1978.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
