A very good quality large tower made military percussion pistol. This item which dates to circa early to mid 19th century and was converted from a flintlock to percussion as they were more reliable.
This item is shown with the crown makers mark together with the tower proof mark, and as such shows this piece to be of superior quality.
It iis complete with brass fittings which include a skull crusher butt cap and brass trigger guard. The ram rod sadly lost in antiquity but this is not unusual of a gun of this period and is reflected in the price.
As with all of my antiques and antiquities this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity. Period style: Georgian (1714 – 1837) Dimension: 43.0 CM in Length. Item location: In the Centre
