A vintage Moorcroft vase in the Hibiscus pattern by Walter Moorcroft.
The height is 132mm (5.19inch).
The hibiscus pattern has been one of Moorcroft's most enduring designs with a number of developments over the years. Originally drawn by Walter Moorcroft c1949 developments included changes in the early 1960's, the coral hibiscus pattern introduced in 1968 and further designs following on for some years.
Regarding the age of this vase the base has two impressed backstamps i.e. MOORCROFT and MADE IN ENGLAND the style and positioning of which indicate a date range c1949 to 1986, hence the vase is clearly of genuine vintage age.
