A striking and substantial 18ct white gold emerald and diamond cluster ring, centred with a beautifully vibrant emerald surrounded by a generous surround of brilliant-cut diamonds.
The rectangular emerald-cut emerald measures approximately 9.97mm x 7.93mm x 4.89mm and displays a rich, vivid green colour with the natural internal characteristics typically associated with emerald. Based upon its dimensions, the emerald is estimated to weigh approximately 2.8-3.00cts; this is a calculated weight as the stone has not been removed from its setting.
The emerald is secured by four claws and surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds with a total estimated diamond weight of 0.80ct. The diamonds are estimated to be G/H colour and VS–SI1 clarity, assessed whilst mounted, and provide a bright, lively contrast to the intense green of the central stone.
The complete cluster measures approximately 15mm x 12mm and is raised above an attractive open-work gallery, allowing light beneath the stones while creating an impressive profile on the finger.
The ring is not hallmarked but has been professionally tested as 18ct white gold. It has also been professionally polished and is presented in excellent condition.
