An Edwardian Silver Cigarette Case for HMS Defence. She was Laid Down in 1905 and Launched in 1907. During the 1916 Battle of Jutland she was the Flagship of Rear-Admiral Sir Robert Arbuthnot, where she was Sunk with All Hands. Approximately 900 Men Lost their Lives.
In excellent condition, free of dents, creases and repair. Wear to the gilt interior and loss of definition to the engraved detail on the cover.
