Georgian, George IV, Pair of Silver Entree Dishes & Covers. Of shaped, rectangular, form with gadrooned borders and ornate handles. Each dish cover has an identical crest with the motto 'FIRMA DURANT'. The handles are removable, allowing the covers to be used as serving dishes and more easily stored. All dishes, covers and handles are numbered 2 and 3.
The dishes and covers are all hallmarked for London 1824 by William Bateman. The handles are hallmarked silver by William Bateman.
In very good condition, being free of dents, creases and repair. Higher wear and scratches to the bases, commensurate with age and use as serving dishes.
