Georgian, George III, silver mug of plain baluster form. Features acanthus leaf capped scroll handle and a spreading, circular, pedestal foot. Capacity to the brim is about 300 ml, so it's a half pint mug.
In very good order. The top rim is ever so slightly misshape. There will be signs of use and surface wear, with minor bumps when fingers are run around the body. No dents or creases. Traces of old solder repair to the base.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1771 by Thomas Wallis I.
Approximate weight is 187 grams or 6 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 10 cm height, 10.5 cm length and 6.5 cm top rim diameter.
