Georgian, George III, silver mug of plain baluster form. Features acanthus leaf capped scroll handle and a spreading, circular, pedestal foot. Capacity to the brim is about 300 ml, so it's a half pint mug.
In very good order. The top rim is ever so slightly misshapen. Moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Some clouding of the silver. Traces of solder to the underside of the base, but this could be from manufacture.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1771 by Thomas Wallis I.
Approximate weight is 187 grams or 6 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 10 cm height, 10.5 cm length and 6.5 cm top rim diameter.
