Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Crested Salver Circa 1790 - 1810.

Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate salver with a beautiful central crest. Circa 1790 - 1810. In original condition, with no later chasing. Features rolled over silver edges, a gadrooned border and raised on three ornate bracket feet. The crest appears to represent a winged cherub with head in hands upon a tomb.

In excellent order with some copper bleed to the main surface. No warping and free of dents. Surface wear is commensurate with age.

Approximate weight is 1.25 kilos.

Approximate dimensions are 36 cm diameter and 4 cm height.
