A Set of Six George I Hanoverian Pattern Britannia Silver Tablespoons. Contemporary initials to the reverse of the terminals and rat tails.
Fairly clear bottom struck hallmarks for London 1720 by William Street. The date letter is clear on every spoon and the maker's mark is relatively clear on five spoons. All hallmarks have been photographed.
The spoons are free of any dents, creases and splits. The tips of the bowls are all in good order. Some thinning to the bowl sides. All without sign of repair. Light surface wear commensurate with age. The spoon where the maker's mark is obscured, slightly narrower in the bowl width.
Approximate weight of all six spoons is 372 grams or 11.9 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 19.8 cm length and 3.9 cm bowl width.
