A set of six sterling silver citrus fruit spoons hallmarked Sheffield 1929 by maker Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd.
The spoons are in excellent condition with very clear hallmarks and no initials or monograms.
The length of each spoon is 149mm. The weight (combined) is 136g.
These items date from the art deco period and the more geometric design of the decoration is so typical of this period. The attractive finials at the end of each spoon seem to be a little more 'decorative' but without detaching far from the art deco influence.
While many citrus fruit spoons narrow towards the end the spoons offered here appear more unusual due to their elongated lip design.
These items are ready to display, add to a collection of silverware, or use at the table as they were originally designed for.
These spoons are made from a good thickness of silver having a combined weight of 136 grams and feel quality items to hold.
