A vintage Moorcroft vase in the Pansy design by Rachel Bishop.
The height is 91mm.
The backstamps include ©93 for the design copyright year and the 'Gate' year cypher for 1996 showing this as the actual year the vase was made, hence a genuine vintage piece.
Rachel Bishop joined Moorcroft in 1993 as only the forth designer in the company's history and quickly established herself as a senior designer, and her designs are now widely collected.
The vase has been closely inspected and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is only a minimal amount of the age related crazing often present on vintage Moorcroft pottery and in fact on the upper surface it is very minimal indeed.
A colourful, decorative and very attractive item to add to a collection.
