A Moorcroft vase by designer Kerry Goodwin.
The height is 95mm.
In 1990 Moorcroft started to use year cyphers on their pottery i.e. symbols on the base to show the year an item was made, which may be different to the copyright date. The back stamps on this vase include © 2010 for the copyright date plus the 'Umbrella' symbol which is the year cypher for 2010 hence confirming this year to also be the year of production.
The vase is in excellent condition.
This Moorcroft vase is available by ordering online or from the Antiques Centre in York. If visiting the Centre the vase can be found in Cabinet 138, situated on the Lower Ground Floor, along with other Moorcroft items from early vintage to more modern examples.
Nb. There is a box which the vase will be sent in however there is some writing on the box (see images) so not actually listed as a boxed item.
