A Moorcroft vase in the Wisteria design by Philip Gibson.
The height of the vase is 155mm (6.10 inch).
The base markings include ©98 showing 1998 as the design copyright date. The design was then launched August 1999. The 'Key with a double 'M' for the teeth' year cypher indicates 2000 as the actual year of production.
This Wisteria vase is a Moorcroft Collectors Club series item with M.C.C also shown on the base along with the number 941.
The tube lining and art work are truly impressive. Well defined tube lining standing nicely proud of the surface along with the content rich design and bright colours make for a very attractive item.
The vase in excellent overall condition, perhaps better described as in mint condition.
An opportunity to add a lovely piece of Moorcroft pottery to a collection. Of course given its size the vase might just be considered large enough to display as a stand alone item as an alternative.
