The base markings show a design copyright date ©1998 with the 'Iron' year cypher showing 1998 also as the actual year the pin dish was made.
The diameter is 116mm and the height 18mm.
The Trout design was originally intended for the Moorcroft 1998 year plate but was thought too good to be restricted to a single item so was reserved for 1999 as a full range.
The pin dish is in excellent overall condition with the tube lining and art work truly impressive. How the tones on the body of the trout change between dark and light and the detail on the fins are lovely examples of this. An item with a lot of content and a fine combination of craft and design.
