A vintage Moorcroft pin dish in the Robins design on blue colourway by Sally Tuffin.
The diameter is 119mm and the height 19mm.
The impressed bell mark on the base is the year cypher for 1991, showing 1991 as the year the pin dish was made. The Robins design on blue colourway was introduced in 1991and withdrawn 1992 hence quite a short production run.
Sally Tuffin was already a recognised designer when she joined Moorcroft in 1986 and took over the full responsibility for design following Walter Moorcroft's retirement in 1987. She was in fact only the third designer, after William and Walter Moorcroft, since the company began.
Sally Tuffin designs are now very collectable.
This item has been closely inspected and assessed as in very good vintage condition.
