A vintage Moorcroft Ginger Jar in the Violet design by Sally Tuffin.
The height (including the lid) is 110mm.
The base has the impressed 'Eye' year cypher for 1994 showing this as the year the ginger jar was made, hence a genuine vintage item.
Sally Tuffin was already a recognised designer when she joined Moorcroft in 1986 and took over the full responsibility for design following Walter Moorcroft's retirement in 1987. She was in fact only the third designer, after William and Walter Moorcroft, since the company began. Sally Tuffin designs are now very collectable.
There is a great deal of content in this 'eye catching' design which is certainly worthy of special mention. A very attractive ginger jar ready to add to a collection.
This item has been closely inspected and assessed as in excellent condition.
