The Rain Forest design was introduced in 1992. The base of this item has the 'Eye' year cypher which shows 1994 to be the actual year this pin dish was made, hence a genuine vintage item.
Sally Tuffin was already a recognised designer when she joined Moorcroft in 1986 and took over the full responsibility for design following Walter Moorcroft's retirement in 1987. She was in fact only the third designer, after William and Walter Moorcroft, since the company began. Sally Tuffin designs are now very collectable.
The pin dish has been closely inspected and assessed as in excellent condition.
An attractive design which should display nicely in a collection of vintage Moorcroft pottery.
