A vintage Moorcroft pin dish in the Anemone design.
The diameter is 117mm and the height 17mm
The anemone pattern was first designed by William Moorcroft in 1938 and then redrawn by Walter Moorcroft in 1975. Walter Moorcroft retired in 1987 but in 1988 he was invited to redraw the original design, and the new range was issued in 1989.
The backstamps on this pin dish include a Diamond symbol which is the year cypher for 1993 showing this as the year of production, and hence a genuine vintage item.
The pin dish has been closely inspected and assessed as in excellent condition.
This vintage Moorcroft pin dish is available by online order only however if visiting the Antiques Centre please visit Cabinet 138 which can be found on the Lower Ground Floor to view a selection of Moorcroft pottery from early vintage pieces to more modern examples.
