A Large Moorcroft vase in the Kynpersley design by Emma Bossons.
The height is 19.0cm (7.48 inch) the diameter (across the widest section of the body) is 13.4cm (5.27 inch) and the weight just over 0.8 Kg (0.806 Kg).
The base markings show the item has a design copyright date of 2003 with an impressed 'Octagon' year cypher showing 2004 as the actual year of production.
The design features in at least one Moorcroft catalogue i.e. the 2004 catalogue which shows a range of items in the Kynpersley pattern.
Emma Bossons, joined Moorcroft at age 20 and quickly became a highly successful designer. She went on to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and her designs are now widely collected.
The vase has been closely inspected and assessed as in excellent condition.
An opportunity for a collector to add an impressive piece of Moorcroft pottery to a collection. Of course the physical size of this vase means it may be well suited to display as a single stand alone item, perhaps in an entrance hall or reception room.
