Originally titled Moineau moqueur, mocking (head up) sparrow, this Lalique paperweight was one of three designed by René Lalique in 1929. Over many years modified versions were produced with this one being post 1980.

The weight is engraved "Lalique ® France" to the base, which also has retained two of its original stickers.

The weight measures approximately 11cm by 9cm high.

The weight is in good condition. There are no cracks, chips or repairs, and there is negligible evidence of base wear scratching.
