Lalique vase in the Dampierre design. The Dampierre design features a clear glass urn shaped vase on a pedestal base, with a continuous frieze of satin finish moulding of alternating sparrows and vines round the middle.
"Lalique France" is engraved in the base.
The design by Marc Lalique, Rene's son, dates to 1948. The design is still in production.
The vase measures 11.5 cm (4.5") in diameter across the top, 6.5 cm (2.5") in diameter across the foot and stands 12 cm (4.75") tall. The vase weighs a substantial 1130g / 2.5lb. All measurements are approximate.
The vase is in good condition. There is some shelf wear scratching to the base, and a very small fleabite (2mm wide) to the rim.
