Dating to 1984, this Omega Seamaster Jubilee is an attractive example of Omega's early-1980s ladies' collection and a rather different proposition from the smaller mechanical Omegas of the previous decades.
The watch has a wonderfully classic appearance, with a warm gold-plated case surrounding a clean silver dial, applied baton hour markers and a practical date window at 3 o'clock. The elegant script Seamaster signature gives the dial plenty of vintage character, while the traditional round case and leather strap make it an extremely wearable design.
This particular model is officially recorded in the Omega archives as the Seamaster Jubilee, Ref. 596.0056, from the 1982 International Collection and powered by Omega's Swiss Calibre 1380 quartz movement.
A lovely vintage Omega that combines the heritage of the Seamaster name with the convenience of quartz, and an interesting named model from Omega's early quartz era.
