Description

Regency period gilt bronze inkstand raised on lioness paw feet and adorned with ram masks. Circa 1820 and in the manner of Thomas Hope. Features twin inkwells and a recessed box.

Condition is very good with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. The inkwells are not original, different heights and both have losses to the rims.

Approximate weight is 3.5 kilos.

Approximate dimensions are 26 cm length, 15 cm width and 13 cm height.
