Georgian, George III, Silver Sauce Boat. Raised on three shell capped hoof feet. Features an acanthus capped handle and crimped rim. There is a monogram of MH to the underside and a crest to one side.
Hallmarked to the underside for London 1770 by George Smith III.
In very good order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age and some misting of the silver. These are probably heat marks (firescale) and is more noticeable on a white background. Free of dents and creases. Minor signs of feet pushing into the interior.
Approximate weight is 107 grams or 3.44 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 13 cm length, 7.5 cm width and 9 cm height.
