Early 19th Century Bronze Medal of Napoleon and The Baptism of The King of Rome. After Jean-Bertrand Andrieu & Dominique Vivant Denon.

The obverse with a Laureate bust of Napoleon Bonaparte facing left. The reverse with Napoleon standing facing left holding aloft the infant King of Rome, font and Bible to the left with a winged lion throne to the right. In exergue: BAPTEME DU ROI DE ROME M.DCCC.XI (1811).

In very good condition with wear to the rim, as shown in the last photo. Moderate surface wear commensurate with age and some marks in the field.

Approximate weight is 178 grams.

Approximate dimensions are 6.8 cm diameter and 0.7 cm depth.
