A very nice quality ,roman ladies, bronze cloak brooch depicting a dove in flight.

This item which dates to circa 2nd -3rd century AD, is in lovely condition.

It shows a dove with its wings swept back in a dive position..

As is almost always the case the fastening pin has been lost in antiquity and likely how this piece was lost
