The English Civil War, Puritans & The Commonwealth. Pair of Portrait Miniatures of Oliver Cromwell (1599 - 1658) and Henry Ireton (1611 - 1651).
Henry Ireton fought alongside Oliver Cromwell, during the English Civil War on the side of the Parliamentarians. He married the daughter of Oliver Cromwell and would go onto become Lord Deputy of Ireland.
Both are marked to the rear for being hand painted by Alasdair McWilliam and are dated 1989.
In very good condition with tarnished frames.
Approximate weight for the pair is 78 grams.
