In 2024 Lalique introduced “Iconics rose nebula”, a new pink lustre colour that includes gold in its creation. This colour is sprayed on to a finished clear piece, then annealed in a high temperature furnace, and the process repeated several times until the right shade of colour is achieved.
This Champs-Élysées bowl was originally designed by Marc Lalique (René's son) in 1951. It is one of Lalique's enduring classic designs that is still in production today, and has now been included in a limited number of pieces to be given the new pink colour.
The bowl measures approximately 45 cm (18") wide, by 25.4 cm (10"), and stands 19 cm (7.5") at its highest. It is a very substantial weighty piece of glass.
The bowl is new and boxed.
