Georgian, George III, Twelve Silver Tablespoons. All twelve spoons are of fiddle pattern form with a double struck thread pattern.
Each spoon is crested for William Duncombe 2nd Baron Feversham (1798 - 1867). He was a Member of Parliament for the North Riding of Yorkshire and there is a monument to him in Helmsley, North Yorkshire. He was a great supporter of Richard Oastler's campaign for factory reform. The family seat was Duncombe Park, near Helmsley.
Nine spoons are hallmarked for London 1819 by William Eley & William Fearn. Three spoons are hallmarked for London 1808 by William Eley, William Fearn & William Chawner.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age.
