Georgian, George III, silver coffee biggin of straight rounded form with gadrooned decoration and raised upon a circular foot. The cover is slightly domed and has an orb finial. Coffee biggins have a rim, inside the top of the body, to hold a mesh filter, suspended from a metal ring.
In excellent order with surface wear commensurate with age. Feint trace of an oval cartouche to the front of the main body, but no thinning or flexing and no sign of an erasure.
