Antique Japanese Lacquerware Tea Caddy

A lovely Japanese Lacquer Tea Caddy with gold coloured inlay of a bird in a branch. The caddy still has it's lead lining. 

The quality involved in making the carved metal clasp is typical of Japanese craftmanship. 

There is a slight bit of lacquer missing on the underside of the caddy and a few scuffs through use but it is still a beautiful little Japanese box. Pleaase see photographs.
