An Early 19th Century Framed and Glazed Coloured Wax Portrait Profile of Napoleon Bonaparte. Mounted on glass, signed 'NAPOLEON I' and fitted with a suspension loop.
In very good condition with no wax damage. The wax portrait is mounted onto glass and this is cracked, but does not really show in the photos. One crack runs the full length of the glass and there are two smaller glass cracks that start from the top of the glass mount and go to the top of the wax head. These cracks more visible when shining a torch onto them. The frame in good condition with a fair amount of wear.
Approximate weight is 569 grams.
Approximate framed dimensions are 20 cm length, 16.7 cm width and 3 cm depth.
