Admiral Augustus Keppel, 1st Viscount Keppel (1725 - 1786) was a Royal Navy Officer and politician. He served during the War of the Austrian Succession, the Seven Years War and the American Revolutionary War. His positions included Senior Naval Lord, Commander-in-Chief Channel Fleet and First Lord of the Admiralty.
In good condition without loss, or repair. There is a very narrow 7 mm long stable crack where the neckcloth meets the lower part of the face, best seen in photo 1.
