This is an original René Lalique “Primeveres” bowl, moulded in clear/opaque glass with blue enamel highlighting, dating to c1927. This was originally a ladies dressing table bowl and cover, but the lid is no longer, so it is just the bowl being sold. It still stands alone well as a decorative bowl. The model number is #77. “Primeveres” is the French for “Primroses”.
"R.Lalique" is moulded into the base of the bowl, “France” is cut into the glass below, and “No 77” is engraved”.
The bowl measures approximately 16.5cm wide and stands 7cm high.
The bowl is in good original condition. There are a few light scratches to the base and inside the bowl which is to be expected for a piece of this age and by the nature of its usage, and there are bubbles in the glass as is normal for a piece of this date.
There is no original packaging.
