Rare early 19th century German pewter spice box, possibly of judaica interest, a ‘besamim’ associated with the ending of Shabat. By Johann Conrad Grunewald, with impressed mark on lid, and nicely modelled seraph finial. C.1800.

Legs and sides are bent (doesn’t stand straight) would benefit from restoration. Lid slides out OK.
