This Victorian natural opal ring features five luminous natural opals, each radiating a mesmerising play of colours characteristic of fine opals. Their soft, iridescent glow is beautifully enhanced by the addition of small diamonds set delicately between the opals. One of the smaller opals has a small chip on the reverse side, but is not visible when worn and does not affect the visual appearance and the stability of the ring.
Crafted in the late Victorian era, this ring embodies the romantic and ornate aesthetic of the period. The shank is stamped with the maker's mark 'JL', a crown and '18' for its 18 carat gold purity, the city and date stamps are rubbed and are not legible.
