These fobs were used to decorate a gentleman's watch chain. They were also frequently engraved and awarded as sporting trophies.
This fob has not been personalised/engraved.
The fob centre show signs of having been rose gold gilded on one side, but this is now wearing away.
The fob is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1909, and the makers Constantine & Floyd Ltd.
Constantine & Floyd operated from Caroline Street, and later Regent Place, Birmingham.
The fob measures 2.5 cm (1") by 3.4 cm (1.3"), excluding the suspension ring, and weighs 13 grams.
All measurements are approximate.
The fob is in overall good condition, with surface scratches commensurate with age. The suspension ring is worn, but not worn through.
