Antique Victorian silver sugar sifter, featuring a geometrically pierced shell shape bowl, on an albany pattern handle.
The sifter is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1899, and the makers Walker & Hall.
All hallmarks are crisp and clear.
Walker and Hall worked from the Electro Works, Howard Street, Sheffield.
The sifter is 11.4 cm (4.55") long. The pierced bowl is 4.3 cm (1.7") by 4.6 cm (1.8"), and is 1.3 cm (.6") deep. It weighs 20 grams.
