This table spoon was made in the workshop of Peter & William Bateman in London. The spoon measures 20.18 cm in length and weighs approx 57.5 grams. All the hallmarks are nice and clear. The PB WB for Peter & William Bateman, the Lion Passant for sterling silver, the Leopard's head town mark for London, the date letter L for 1806-07, and the duty paid mark is the profile head and shoulders of George lll. Peter and William Bateman worked together from 1805 to 1815.
There is a little uneveness in the bottom of the bowl.
